The Dutch navy has also chosen Neptune for the benefit of the “Ms. Urania”
On board the “Ms. Urania” prospective officers (midshipmen) are trained who will be given a sailing position, so-called naval officers. Here they get to know the sea and things like navigating and sailing; basically all the basic knowledge that comes with sailing at sea. But team building and character development are also of paramount importance. The Urania is in use at the Royal Naval Institute (KIM), part of the Netherlands Defense Academy.
